Hologram Projector

What is a hologram projector?

A holographic projector is a device capable of projecting 3D images floating in the air, creating the illusion of tangible objects. Unlike a simple video projector, it does not just display an image on a white wall: it creates an immersive projection using high-brightness LEDs, often with a native resolution close to Full HD. Thanks to DLP or LCD technology, these devices are used for both entertainment and professional presentations as well as events.

Different types of hologram projectors

Depending on your usage and budget, several models are available:

• Portable holographic projector: compact and portable, it connects via HDMI or USB and offers excellent quality despite its small size.
• Smartphone holographic projector: entry-level, easy to use, perfect for discovering holographic projection from an Android or iOS phone.
• Professional 3D holographic projector: equipped with high brightness power (several thousand ANSI lumens), with complete connectivity (HDMI, VGA, Bluetooth, remote control), ideal for use in meeting rooms, home cinema, or exhibitions.
• Pico holographic projector: pocket-sized mini projector, rechargeable, easy to connect to a laptop or USB stick.

Type	Advantages	Recommended usage
Portable	Compact, short focal length, good brightness	Mobile usage, quick demonstrations
Smartphone	Affordable, lightweight, easy to use	Discovery, simple animations
Professional 3D	High UHD resolution, high contrast, various connections	Presentations, exhibitions, home cinema
Pico projector	Very compact, built-in battery	Travel, quick projections

Why buy a holographic projector?

Such a device offers a unique experience: instead of a simple flat screen, you benefit from a three-dimensional projected image. It is the perfect tool for dynamic presentations, visual marketing, or even home cinema enthusiasts seeking an immersive rendering. Thanks to the integrated speakers and connectivity (Bluetooth, HDMI, USB port), some models can effectively replace a traditional video projector. For movie lovers, it allows watching films in Full HD or UHD on a large screen with deep colors and excellent contrast ratio.

How to choose your hologram projector?

Before making your choice, consider:

• Brightness (ANSI lumens): the higher it is, the more visible the image remains even in daylight.
• Native resolution: Full HD or UHD for optimal clarity.
• Connectivity: HDMI, VGA, USB, Bluetooth ports depending on your devices (laptop, console, Blu-ray player).
• Contrast: a high contrast ratio ensures deep blacks and better immersion.
• Projected image size: check the projection distance and maximum diagonal (inches).
• Portability: a lightweight and quiet mini projector may be more practical than a bulky model.

FAQ about hologram projectors

Does a holographic projector work in daylight?

Yes, but it is advisable to opt for a model with high brightness (at least 2,000 to 3,000 ANSI lumens) for a clear image in well-lit environments.

Is it compatible with all smartphones?

Most models connect via HDMI, USB, or Wi-Fi. For smartphones, it may be necessary to use an adapter (USB-C/HDMI or Lightning/HDMI).

Can you create your own animations?

Some holographic projectors include creation software or accept standard video files, allowing for the projection of custom images.

What is the lifespan of the LEDs?

The LEDs in a projector can last between 20,000 and 50,000 hours, which translates to several years of regular use, with appropriate cooling (integrated silent fan).

Is it complicated to install?

No, most models simply sit on a tripod or can be mounted on the ceiling with a bracket. The HDMI/USB connection is generally plug-and-play.
